Opportunity for NASFAA Credentialing at the 2017 RMASFAA Summer Institute

In addition to a full week of valuable and comprehensive financial aid training, all Summer Institute attendees will have the opportunity to be taught by NASFAA-credentialed faculty members in at least two subject areas. Everyone will then be given the opportunity to take the online NASFAA credential exams FOR FREE in those two subject areas. This is a $200 value that will be included with the cost of your Summer Institute registration!

Neophyte registrants will be able to take the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Student Eligibility exams. Intermediate registrants will be able to take the Need Analysis and Professional Judgment exams. Advanced registrants will be able to take the Administrative Capability and Cost of Attendance exams.

Diversity and Multicultural Initiatives Scholarship Application

The RMASFAA Diversity and Multicultural Initiatives Committee (DMCI) would like to bring your attention to the application for a scholarship to assist RMASFAA members with costs to attend either the RMASFAA Summer Institute (June 11-16, 2017, at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden CO) or the RMASFAA Annual Conference (October 15-18, 2017, Wichita, KS). The deadline for application has been set for April 21, 2017. The scholarship is intended primarily for underrepresented communities. (The committee would appreciate your identification as such.) Although preference will be given to applicants who have self-identified as underrepresented, please do not hesitate to apply should you be interested in advocating for the mission of the DMCI Committee.
